The oldest wine house in Champagne: Aÿ 1584
The legendary champagne house Gosset is known as the oldest wine house in the region, with origins dating back to 1584 when it was founded by the nobleman Pierre Gosset. His wines, made in Aÿ, were served alongside the finest Burgundies at the tables of European royal courts.
Gosset's outstanding reputation begins with its vineyards, selecting only the finest grapes from premier and grand cru vineyards in the Marne region. In the cellars, their relentless pursuit of quality continues—through four centuries of expertise and great patience, they craft purely gastronomic wines. Over the years, they have earned countless recognitions for their entire range of champagnes.
Domaine de Courcel
Domaine de Courcel, a family-owned estate with 400 years of history in Pommard, is renowned for its prestigious red wines, mainly Premier Crus such as Le Grand Clos des Epenots and Les Rugiens. The 10.5-hectare vineyard, planted with Pinot Noir, produces elegant wines with strong tannins and refined aromas. The limited yield (25 hl/ha) ensures exceptional quality. With respect for tradition and innovation, Domaine de Courcel remains one of the top producers in Pommard.
Ron, Rum, Rhum
Rum is more than just a spirit; it is a reflection of history, culture, and craftsmanship. With roots in colonial times and the sugarcane plantations of the tropics, various colonial powers have developed unique styles that remain influential to this day. Spanish, English, and French-style rums—each with their own production methods and flavor profiles—together form a rich and diverse world to explore.
