Arbois Chardonnay

Domaine Rolet Arbois Chardonnay originates from the Arbois appellation in the Jura and is made from 100% Chardonnay. The grapes come from several vineyard parcels located on the slopes of En Chagnon in Montigny-lès-Arsures. The combination of limestone-rich soils, loose stony gravels and mineral-rich marls creates a wine that beautifully balances richness and minerality.

On the palate, this Chardonnay displays a refined and well-balanced character. It combines freshness with structure and stands out for its mineral expression, making it equally enjoyable on its own or at the dining table.

The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. The wine is then aged for nine months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new. This maturation contributes to the wine’s structure, complexity and depth.

Serve at 12–14°C with grilled fish, shellfish, quiches or gratins.

This Arbois Chardonnay is an excellent choice for lovers of mineral, structured white wines. It can be enjoyed young for its freshness, but also offers several years of ageing potential, during which it develops additional suppleness and roundness.
