With « très » vielles vignes, this wine gives the concept of old vines a whole new dimension. Because the vines are really old with an average of 100 years! Here, of course, the quantities are limited to about 6000 bottles per year.With 12 months of maturation in wooden barrels (including 20% new), Alain Gras' Auxey Duresses are rich, complex and with sturdy tannins. The nose is intense with aromas of herbs, ripe black fruit, floral and even slightly animal notes.
