Barolo Riserva Bricco Voghera is produced exclusively in outstanding vintages and released only after ten years of ageing in the estate’s cellars. The vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba is planted with vines over 95 years old, yielding grapes of unparalleled concentration and depth. This is the ultimate expression of Nebbiolo at Azelia: elegant, powerful and timeless.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and complex, offering aromas of dried flowers and dried fruit, complemented by black cherry, plum and blackberry. Floral notes of rose and violet blend seamlessly with nuances of dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is rounded and generous, with perfectly polished tannins, vibrant freshness and an exceptionally long, lingering finish.

Vinification is carried out with indigenous yeasts and a long maceration of around 55 to 60 days. The wine then ages for five years in large oak casks, followed by a further five years in bottle, a patient maturation that brings harmony, aromatic depth and nobility.

Serve ideally at around 18?°C. A sublime match for refined game dishes, truffle based preparations, slow cooked red meats or exceptional gastronomic creations.

This Riserva is intended for the true wine lover and collector: a Barolo to remember, already impressive today, yet endowed with ageing potential that can effortlessly extend over several decades.
