Beaune 'Clos du Roi'

Located north of the municipality of Beaune, this gently rolling landscape is characterized by stony, sandy soil. Early ripening of the grapes, here you will find a wine with an incomparable fruitiness, accompanied by very soft tannins. Fine, soft and compact at the same time, with very expressive red fruit aromas. This ‘ climat ’ is a former property of the Dukes of Burgundy, annexed by King Louis XI, after Charles the Bold.This amazing Burgundian wine is best reflected in duck breast, roast lamb shoulder and the like. Can be stored for at least 10 years.
