Made from barley from Hesbaye and water from the local spring, this 5-year-old Single Malt is distilled in traditional pot stills and aged for at least three years in first-fill bourbon casks from the Heaven Hill Distillery.
The coffee finish, a selection by Charles Liégeois, adds a unique dimension: a nose that begins with dominant notes of vanilla and honey, supported by aromas of pear, citrus, dried fruits, ginger, and spices, with the distinctive ripe coffee bean providing a warm, almost cocoa-like accent.
On the palate, an astonishingly balanced array of flavors unfolds, with hints of dried fruit, honey, lemon zest, and a subtle richness that transitions into a finish with espresso-like bitterness, complemented by earthy and lactic nuances.
