Beyond the Clouds

Discover Elena Walch’s Grande Cuvée “Beyond the Clouds.” Alto Adige’s very first white supercuvée, this year-after-year award-winning blend brings together the finest sites and grape varieties. Each vintage is meticulously selected, fermented and aged in new French oak barriques to highlight the purity and diversity of Elena Walch’s vineyards.

The winemaking takes place entirely in new French oak barriques, with a portion of the wine undergoing malolactic fermentation. The cuvée then ages ten months sur lie with regular bâtonnage, followed by at least six months of bottle maturation before release.

In the glass, this Grande Cuvée shines with an intense, brilliant yellow hue. The bouquet opens with exotic hints of pineapple, floral scents, rose petals and a subtle toast note. On the palate, you’ll experience a full, complex structure with silky roundness, a juicy mineral core, delicate wood nuances and a long, refreshing finish.

Serve “Beyond the Clouds” at 10–12 °C as an opulent aperitif or pair it with scallops, lobster, creamy risottos or soft cheeses to fully express its rich complexity and elegant freshness.
