Campofiorin Rosso Verona IGT is an iconic, powerful, fruit driven red wine from Verona that links Valpolicella tradition with the richness of the appassimento technique. Masi developed Campofiorin in 1964 and created a style that sits between a fresh Valpolicella and a full bodied Amarone, often described as the classic "baby Amarone" because of its concentrated flavour and smooth, ripe tannins.

In the glass Campofiorin shows a deep ruby red colour with intense cherry and berry notes. The nose opens with rich, ripe red and dark fruit, supported by gentle spice and subtle chocolate and vanilla accents. On the palate the structure is full and rounded, with a firm yet elegant body, smooth tannins and a persistent, fruit driven finish.

The wine is produced using a refined application of appassimento and ripasso like principles: primary fermentation of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara followed by re fermentation with a proportion of semi dried grapes. This adds extra concentration, depth and softness without sacrificing approachability. The result is a harmonious balance of power and drinkability.

Campofiorin is versatile at the table: perfect with richer pasta dishes in tomato sauce, braised meats, grilled lamb chops and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C to allow the aromas to fully develop.
