Charme

Charme is an elegant and balanced Douro red wine made with 100% whole bunches in traditional stone lagares. Sourced from old vines in Vale de Mendiz along the banks of the Pinhão, it displays a pale garnet color. Its nose unfolds gracefully with floral notes, gradually revealing hints of graphite, cherries, and rhubarb. 

On the palate, Charme exudes elegance, precision, and structure, culminating in a long, expressive finish marked by excellent acidity, subtle oak influences, and mineral tones of fresh red fruit. 

This rare Douro wine, its soft, ripe tannins uniquely capturing the character of very old and refreshing vineyards nestled in the heart of the Pinhão valley, begins with fermentation in concrete vats and is finished by aging for 16 months in carefully selected French oak barrels.
 
The result is a fresh wine of great elegance and aromatic complexity, with an intensely long finish. Ideal for pairing with mushroom and game dishes.
