Clos Mireille Blanc is an elegant white wine from the AOC Côtes de Provence, originating from an exceptional coastal terroir in La Londe, where the vineyards overlook the Mediterranean Sea. The estate extends across a protected natural area of 174 hectares, including 56 hectares of vineyards. The combination of schist and quartz soils, Mediterranean sunshine, and an almost constant sea breeze gives this wine its refined, fresh, and mineral-driven character.
In the glass, the wine displays a pale golden colour with subtle green reflections. The nose is fresh and delicate, offering aromas of white peach and fresh citrus. On the palate, it is generous and rounded, supported by a refined mineral backbone. Flavours of white peach blend harmoniously with richer notes of toasted hazelnut and pineapple. The finish is elegant and persistent, lifted by a subtle citrus touch that provides precision and length.
The wine is crafted predominantly from Sémillon, complemented by Rolle (Vermentino), creating a balance between richness, aromatic complexity, and freshness. The winemaking process focuses on preserving the purity of the fruit while highlighting the expression of the terroir.
Serve lightly chilled with refined fish dishes, shellfish, seafood, or light Mediterranean cuisine. A stylish and characterful white Provence, ideal for lovers of fresh yet layered wines, perfectly suited to gastronomic occasions and offering excellent ageing potential.
