Crafted from vineyards with an average age of 15 years on granite and schist-derived, loamy clay soils, the wine captures the diversity of the terroir and the identity of the selected varieties, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet, and Tinta Miúda.
After destemming and crushing, the different varietals are co-fermented in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages for 4 months in tulip-shaped concrete tanks, which, through their unique micro-oxygenation, preserve and enhance its intense, direct, and vibrant character.
In the glass, the wine presents a clear, concentrated ruby color. The nose displays notes of fresh red fruit, complemented by floral and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and direct with an elegant texture, offering predominant flavors of sour cherry and red fruits, balanced by robust tannins and a fresh, elegant finish.
