Cote Rotie 'Les Bécasses'

Les Bécasses is an expressive Syrah from Côte-Rôtie that perfectly reflects the qualities of the appellation. The wine has a deep purplish-red color and a nose with aromas of raspberry, violets, black olives, and tapenade. On the palate, it is full and deep, with a woody, spicy, and vanilla-like finish. Vinification takes place in small concrete vats, followed by aging for 14 to 16 months in oak barrels (20% new oak). Perfect with guinea fowl supreme with girolles and Kalamata olives.
