Pago de los Capellanes Crianza represents the essence of the winery: a wine born from demanding soils, the cool contours of Ribera del Duero, and the perseverance of old vines. This Crianza combines balance, integrity, and the elegant calm of a wine with maturity. It reflects the spirit of its origin and shows how the extreme climate of the region can translate into a warm, inviting character in the glass.

On the nose and palate, the wine reveals black fruit, inviting you to enjoy it during a cosy meal. The structure is harmonious and full, with refined power and controlled intensity, making it both characterful and approachable.

The grapes come from Tempranillo vines averaging 35 years old, grown in Pedrosa de Duero, Anguix, and Roa. They thrive on clay limestone soils, poor in organic material and with very low fertility, conditions that contribute to concentration, depth, and finesse in the wine. Ageing takes place over 12 months in 300 litre French oak barrels, adding refinement without overshadowing the pure character of the grape.

Serve the Crianza at 16–18°C. Its structure and juicy dark fruit pair perfectly with grilled red meats, stews, game dishes, and mature cheeses.

Pago de los Capellanes Crianza is ideal for wine lovers seeking elegance, depth, and an authentic expression of Ribera del Duero. Thanks to its balance and structure, it also offers excellent ageing potential, allowing it to shine both now and in the years to come.
