Etna Rosso

Alta Mora Etna Rosso DOC from Cusumano is an inspiring tribute to the power and finesse of Nerello Mascalese grown on the slopes of mighty Etna at 600–800 metres elevation. Warm days and cool nights, combined with mineral-rich volcanic soils, promote slow ripening and refined concentration. Aged in 25 hl oak barrels, this wine gains subtle spice and caramel notes without overpowering its fresh fruit tones.

In the glass, Alta Mora Etna Rosso shimmers with a transparent ruby-red hue edged in orange. The nose unfolds a palette of wild strawberry, cherry and blood orange, interlaced with violet petals and a mineral undertone. On the palate, vibrant, elegant tannins frame a core of red fruit, while a zesty acidity and saline-stone notes lend graceful structure. The long, spicy finish whispers of tobacco and rosemary, a direct reflection of Etna’s terroir.
