Gold of Mauritius Emerald Edition is a refined, five year aged premium rum originating from Pamplemousses, the historic heart of Mauritius. This expression is part of the prestigious Heritage Selection, a range that pays tribute to the island’s rich rum making tradition. The Emerald Edition stands out for its elegant, mature character and its subtle references to the tropical terroir from which it emerges. It is a spirit that captures the essence of Mauritius: warm, layered and deeply rooted in culture.

In the glass, this rum reveals a bright amber colour with golden highlights. The nose opens with a delicate hint of peach, complemented by notes of roasted nuts and a soft malty undertone. On the palate, the Emerald Edition is rich and harmonious, offering a complex structure where malt, subtly integrated oak and a touch of fruit come together with elegance. The finish is exceptionally smooth, rounded and remarkably long, the result of careful ageing.

The Emerald Edition is a blend of rums aged up to five years in various casks, including South African wine barrels that contribute depth and aromatic finesse. This secondary maturation refines the texture and fully enhances the rum’s malty signature. The estate avoids chill filtration, preserving the natural aromas and full mouthfeel.

Serve this rum ideally at 18–20°C, neat or with a drop of water to open up the aromas. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, caramel  or coffee based desserts, roasted nuts and rich pastries.
