Champagne Henriot Brut Souverain is the iconic cuvée of Maison Henriot, born in 1808 from Apolline Henriot’s ambition to capture and preserve the character of her crus. By setting wines aside each year, she laid the foundation for a masterful union of multiple vintages. Brut Souverain tells the story of 29 different crus in a single glass, where tradition and terroir meet with unparalleled precision.

This multi-cru, multi-vintage cuvée blends the three essential Champagne grape varieties — 50 % Pinot Noir, 45 % Chardonnay, and 5 % Meunier. It comprises 50–70 % base-vintage wines and 30–50 % reserve wines, enriched by the perpetual reserve. After at least three years’ aging on the lees and a dosage of up to 5 g/L, it reveals a refined complexity that balances power and finesse.

In the glass, Brut Souverain displays a pale golden hue and a continuous stream of ultra-fine bubbles. The nose unfolds a rich aromatic palette: white-fleshed fruits and fresh citrus intertwine with lightly smoked brioche notes, leading to pure chalky minerality, while stone fruits and red berries lend depth and indulgence. On the palate, the attack is generous and supple, with a pleasing roundness, followed by a crisp, lingering freshness that beckons the next sip.

Serve Champagne Henriot Brut Souverain at 9–12 °C as an elegant aperitif, or pair it with seafood, smoked salmon, and delicate fish dishes. It also harmonizes beautifully with oysters, sushi, or soft cheeses.
