Champagne Henriot Millésime 2012 is a tribute to an exceptional year and the refined craftsmanship of Maison Henriot. True to Apolline Henriot’s vision, who in 1808 crafted the first Brut Souverain, this vintage expression spotlights the unique character of a single harvest.
This cuvée blends 54 % Pinot Noir with 46 % Chardonnay sourced from Premier and Grand Cru sites in the Montagne de Reims (Verzenay, Avenay, Mutigny, Trépail) and the Côte des Blancs (Chouilly). After a minimum of eight years aging on the lees and a delicate dosage of 2.5 g/L, Millésime 2012 presents itself in the glass with a pale golden hue and a continuous stream of fine bubbles.
On the nose, concentrated black fruit aromas unfold, underpinned by chalky minerality and subtle smoky, wooded notes. The palate is precise and powerful, with noble freshness that strikes a perfect balance between fruit intensity and elegant mineral depth.
Serve Henriot Millésime 2012 chilled to 9–12 °C for a celebratory dinner: it elevates lobster, scallops, or grilled langoustines, and also complements a fine cheese platter or serves as a grand finale to any meal.
