Champagne Henriot Blanc Souverain Blanc de Blancs is Maison Henriot’s ode to its most noble grape. In 1880, the marriage of Paul Henriot and Marie Marguet, heiress to the grands crus of the Côte des Blancs, brought Chardonnay into the family vineyards. Ever since, Blanc Souverain has honored the purity and richness of each of our Chardonnay plots, carefully assembled into an exceptional multi-vintage cuvée.
This cuvée is crafted exclusively from Chardonnay sourced from twelve distinct crus, blended in a harmonious ratio of 50–70 % base vintage wines and 30–50 % reserve wines. After a minimum of three years aging on the lees and a refined dosage of up to 5 g/L, it reveals a Champagne of generous character and refined finesse.
In the glass, it displays a pale golden hue with a delicate, abundant mousse. The bouquet unfolds aromas of flambéed pineapple and ripe citrus fruits, underscored by fresh accents of wet chalk and subtle pastry nuances. On the palate, a velvety texture and exceptional vivacity envelop each sip, while bright acidity frames the flavors and leads to a long, refreshing finish.
Serve Blanc Souverain Blanc de Blancs chilled to 9–12 °C as a festive aperitif or pair it with seafood, delicate fish dishes, sushi, or refined cheeses. Ready to elevate any moment with its pure Chardonnay charm and timeless elegance.
