Korem IGT Isola dei Nuraghi by Argiolas is an expressive red wine made from 100% Bovale Sardo, grown in Sulcis at the southernmost tip of Sardinia. The vineyards are rooted in calcareous clay and sandstone soils, constantly cooled by sea breezes and bathed in intense sunlight. After manual harvesting, the must undergoes maceration for 10–12 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete. The young wine then matures for at least six months in bottle, resulting in a perfect balance between fruit and structure.
In the glass, Korem appears deep ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries, and plums, accompanied by Mediterranean herbs and soft spices. On the palate, it continues this richness: full and warm, with velvety tannins and a lingering, harmonious finish.
