La Poza de Ballesteros

The vines of La Poza de Ballesteros were planted in 1960 in the town of Elvillar at an altitude of 600 meters. This Single Vineyard faces west and covers an area of 1.18 hectares. It consists of loam soil with sludge at depth and coarse-grained sand and calcium carbonate in the substrate. La Poza de Ballesteros has an intense presence of ripe red fruit and wide, round tannins that completely cover the mouth.
