La Segreta Rosso

La Segreta Rosso is a vibrant blend of Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, a mix as versatile as the island itself. 

The grapes come from Planeta’s own vineyards in Menfi and Noto, where chalky soils, lava sand, and Mediterranean herbs set the tone. Everything is organically cultivated, with respect for nature and the power of the soil. 

In the glass, this wine displays an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals notes of juicy berries, black cherries, a hint of mint, and a touch of spices. On the palate, it is smooth, fruity, and lightly spicy, with soft tannins and a fresh, juicy finish. 

Perfect with pasta featuring eggplant, grilled vegetables, or a weeknight lasagna, or simply enjoyed on its own if you’re in the mood for a glass of character with a Sicilian soul.
