Langhe Nebbiolo

The grapes for this cuvée come from their young vineyards in Barbaresco. Although this cuvée could be sold as Barbaresco, the Sottimano family finds vineyards younger than 25 years “too young” to represent the appellation. Similar to Burgundy, they choose to declassify the grapes to a “village” wine, namely Langhe Nebbiolo DOC. Aromas of red fruit combined with typical hints of rose petals. Juicy and fruity on the palate, with additional flavors of mint and licorice that become even more persistent towards the finish. Excellent price-quality ratio.
