Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia

The Supertuscan Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia (a patented blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot) is a rich and deeply hued red blend with lovely notes of dark fruit, sweetness, spiciness, and the generous roundness of a warm vintage. The fullness of the fruit comes through completely, yet in a very relaxed and natural manner. The wine never feels over the top. The tannins are yielding and velvety, and this Tuscan red wraps the palate generously.
