Meriggio Sauvignon

Meriggio is a fresh, terroir-driven white from Fontodi in Panzano in Chianti, an elegant expression of modern Tuscan white wine. The cuvée consists of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Trebbiano and comes from the La Rota parcel.

Vinification combines stainless-steel fermentation with aging on the lees in inox, terracotta amphorae and oak barrels for about six months, producing a fresh, aromatic style with subtle texture and complexity.

In the glass Meriggio shows lively citrus and exotic fruit tones, accompanied by a floral undertone and a fine mineral backbone. The mouthfeel is fresh, well-structured and slightly creamy thanks to the sur lie élevage.

Serve at 10–12 °C in a large glass. Perfect with shellfish, grilled fish, light cream- or lemon-based pastas, and with goat or young cheeses.
