Moscato dello Zucco Terre Siciliane I.G.T. from Cusumano is a stunningly aromatic passito wine that stands as a true ode to the Sicilian sun. Made from 100% Moscato Bianco sourced from south-facing vineyards, the grapes are dried in the cellar until they have lost half their weight, intensifying sugars, aromas, and flavors.
After careful drying, the berries undergo an ultra-gentle pressing, and the must is left to decant for twelve hours. The resulting concentrated juice then ferments in barriques and ages there until bottling. This combination of drying and barrel aging gives the wine a velvety texture and refined complexity.
In the glass, Moscato dello Zucco glows with a deep amber hue and golden reflections. The nose is an irresistible bouquet of floral honey, candied orange peel, peaches, and dried apricots, lifted by fresh notes of citrus zest and acacia honey. On the palate, the wine is luxuriously rich, perfectly balancing sweetness with lively acidity. The finish lingers endlessly, with hints of roasted almonds and caramel.
