Nero d'Avola

The Sicilia DOC 100% Nero d’Avola from Cusumano is a fiery interpretation of Sicily’s most iconic red grape. Five months of ‘sur lie’ aging adds extra complexity, softness, and a harmonious texture before bottling. 

In the glass, it reveals an intense ruby red colour with purple hues, followed by seductive aromas of black cherries, plum compote, liquorice, and hints of bay leaf and pepper. The palate is lively and juicy, with warm, rounded tannins and a core of ripe red fruit that flows seamlessly into a long, spicy finish.
