Pierre Péters Cuvée Réserve Oubliée Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a non-vintage solera assemblage of 100 % Chardonnay from the Grand Cru vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. Composed of over 25 vintages since 1988, this cuvée ages extensively sur lie in stainless-steel tanks and oak foeders under natural cork, with a dosage of 6–7 g/L.
In the glass it shimmers clear gold with green glints. The fine, persistent mousse first reveals aromas of ripe stone fruit, brioche and fresh almond, followed by dried white flowers, saffron and a subtle saline, chalky note. On the palate, flavors of apricot, honey and toast unfold, framed by a taut, creamy texture and impressive concentration. The long, elegant finish is enriched with nuances of pure Côte des Blancs minerality.
