Pinot Noir 'Ried Siglos'

A Pinot Noir of precision and charm, from vines aged 35 to 60 years on the slopes of Siglos in Burgenland. Gesellmann vinifies organically, with a focus on terroir and finesse. The grapes were hand-harvested, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After malolactic conversion, the wine matured for 20 months in 500L barrels, and further in large wooden foeders.

In the glass, it shines ruby red. The aroma is intriguing: red forest fruits, fresh cherry, orange zest and a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is juicy, elegant and refreshing. The structure is light-footed with refined tension and a saline echo on the finish.
