Discover Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, the iconic masterpiece of Cantina Argiolas. This cuvée unites four indigenous grape varieties, Cannonau, Carignano, Malvasia Nera, and Bovale Sardo, sourced from old vines rooted in the calcareous clay and sandstone soils of Sulcis, swept by the constant salty sea breeze of southwest Sardinia.
Following rigorous hand selection, Turriga ages for 18–24 months in new French oak barriques, where the wood lends structure and refined notes of toast and vanilla. It then undergoes 12–14 months of bottle maturation, allowing all aromas to harmonize and the tannins to integrate perfectly.
In the glass, Turriga radiates a deep ruby-red colour. Its aroma reveals a rich palette of ripe cherries, blackcurrants, and cassis, enriched by cedarwood, sweet spices, and a subtle touch of toasted oak. On the palate, it’s full, warm and velvety, with powerfully integrated tannins and a long, elegant finish in which Mediterranean herbs and dark chocolate linger beautifully.
