Vertente

This elegant Douro red is produced from old vines (over 35 years) in Quinta de Nápoles and on the slopes of the Pinhão River, where Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and other varieties come together. 

The wine combines the refined character of mature vineyards with the youthful freshness of younger grapes. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, Vertente is aged for 22 months in French oak barriques, which develops its complexity and elegance. 

The nose opens with vibrant red fruit and delicate floral notes, followed by subtle hints of graphite, mint, and spice, with a finish accented by touches of tobacco and leather. 

Its balanced acidity and refined structure make this wine a perfect match for white meats, grilled dishes, or vegetarian options like pasta and quiches.
