Via del Campo is a single vineyard cuvée from Quintodecimo that presents Falanghina in its purest, terroir driven expression. The vineyard, planted in 2004 in the Piano dei Greci of Mirabella Eclano, sits at 360 m on west facing slopes with clay limestone soils that provide concentration and freshness.
In the glass it shines a bright golden yellow. The bouquet offers lively aromas of green apple, pineapple and field flowers, with refined herbal notes and a saline mineral touch. On the palate it is delicate yet powerful: fresh acidity and a subtle menthol lift give energy, while toasted oak nuances embrace the fruit and create a velvety texture.
Vinification combines precision and finesse: slow pressing, separation of free run must, fermentation 70% in stainless steel and 30% in small new oak barriques, followed by four months sur lie with regular bâtonnage to add body without sacrificing liveliness.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Food pairing: shellfish and seafood, delicate fish dishes and sushi, light risottos and Mediterranean starters with lemon and fresh herbs.
An approachable yet characterful Falanghina for immediate enjoyment; with bottle ageing it develops extra layers of honey, apricot and gentle spice over a few years.
