Vigna Grande Cerzito is a cru Taurasi from Quintodecimo, produced from one hectare of Aglianico planted in 2004 on the south facing slope of Mirabella Eclano (approx. 460 m). The deep, well drained volcanic soils of ash and pumice give the wine concentration, structure and pronounced minerality.

In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour with purple hues. The nose opens with ripe cherry and plum, followed by notes of chocolate, mint, eucalyptus and a subtle incense like touch. On the palate it is both powerful and refined: full body, velvety tannins, fresh acidity and a long, elegant finish where minerality and gentle smokiness linger.

Winemaking is traditional and focused: hand harvesting, careful selection and fermentation for about 20–25 days at 28–30 °C. After maceration the wine ages 24 months in new oak barrels, providing backbone and refined oak nuances without masking the terroir.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Food pairing: roasted or braised red meats; lamb; game; rich stews; mature cheeses.

An impressive choice for lovers of powerful, terroir driven reds; Vigna Grande Cerzito has exceptional ageing potential and develops increasing finesse and complexity with years in bottle.
